It is only for the duration of the install, I have not added any vga lines to
lilo.conf or grub.conf. Users not wishing framebuffer-console can disable it,
they have that option, but the installer is better presented and more
complete at 800x600 or higher.
In the future if someone wants to rewrite the installer so that a seperate
help screen can be brought up relating to any cursor-highlighted line
(similar to the kernel menuconfig) then they can change the default to be
non-framebuffer again. Similarly if someone wants to take my current
installer code and add that for the next release I will accept that.
The current code will be uploaded to perforce when I have ironed out the
kernel compile help screen problem.
