One of the great things about our system is that you can edit everything
because bash is readable writable.
WHy don't you just try this?
either add provides where needed or remove depends? if it does work you can
report back. If it doesn't work you will be in a better position to ask for
help.
Filing bugs is always a good idea too. A bug is a good marker for progress
that everyone can see.
File a bug with your intentions, the section guru will see the bug and offer
any advice if appropriate and when it fails/works you can attach the failure
log/ modified spell.
