I can't much I'm afraid, except to say that I don't have this problem. I
have a 64MB IBM memory stick and ohci USB. I don't use usb for anything
else. The messages you get when it works looks like the ones I get, and I've
never seen anything like those errors. It could be a bug in the usb module,
or usb-storage, or even in hardware (but I doubt that last if it works in
windows).
