Only problem being the old version is the same version number, hence
dispel has issues, however, I think if it fails, the compile cache doesn't
get overwritten; just the compile log gets overwritten. So your dispel
idea should work to get it back to known good. A good compile is a known
good though (which makes the mozilla relocation error also talked about so
annoying, since it's a good compile, but causes run-time errors).
