I found the LDP very helpful. A lot of the other online Howto's and such
assume a level of knowledge whereas the LDP actually assumes no knowledge in
many cases. And If you do have half an idea then you can just skip ahead...
Plus its not necessary to read start to finish before gaining some insight?
Individual chapters are very subject specific.
I bought an older copy for about $20 but it's all online too.
