Anyone have the answers?

I added the OMNI drivers option to the espgs spell, which is the Easy Software Products maintenance updates of GNU Ghostscript. I did not find the same information in ghostscript about the OMNI drivers as I did in the espgs configure file, so I did not include it in any version of ghostscript. If you happen to know that it can be included and how to include it, or if you just want to create a spell for the OMNI drivers, please send me the information.

Jason,
I have added omni to ghostscript 7.05 in the past by applying a patch and compiling/installing outside sorcery. However I was never able to get my printer to work. As you well know, getting CUPS/foomatic and all that stuff working is quite complicated. I am still hacking around with it. I should think omni could be added to the ghostscript spell as a patch like many patches in the grimoire; eg, xfree 4.2.1.

BTW I remember now that espgs got installed on my system because of some dependency(can't remember which), and that was where I saw the OMNI option. I believe I will go back to espgs and see if I can get it to work. Any suggestions on setting up printing?
Thanks,
JohnC
