'sorcery update' should do the trick.

'cast --queue' will cast what 'sorcery --queue' decided needed updating.

No, the problem was from switching from glibc 2.2.5 -> 2.3.1, now that
you're running 2.3.1, recompiling the new glibc will have no problems.
Remember to recompile gcc after the glibc update and _before_ compiling
anything else.
