I would think that the binary spell would still be worth having in the grimoire, considering the amount of time it takes to compile the openoffice source (I hear 10+ hours). Some people may like having that option in this case. Would there be any reason not to have both?

We already looked at the lunar version. From my understanding, I didn't
look at it personally, but some other people did. Feel free to correct
me if I got this wrong. But basically what their spell does, is it
temporarily installs everything to one directory, then runs the install
watch to copy everything to another directory. It's a really nasty hack
which we decided wasn't worth it since the current open office spell is
just a temporary place holder until we can get a source based spell to
work rather than the binary.

I saw that the "OpenOffice spell developer" had many problems about the
spell and InstallWatch.

Our own brothers of lunar-penguin had the same problem but they solved
it: I think we could "spy" the solution and then to tribute them their
own work.

Any idea???
