I don't think there's any harm in having a newer spell that works,
rather than the really old stable. Especially given the history you
described.

It'd be cool to have a ham radio network set up for smgl users. Could be
a lot of fun to put together :)

Somewhat off topic:
Does one need a license to operate ham radio?
