I believe Ladislav was just pointing out helpful information, not saying we have to use everything there (since we do mention the package name and version number, #17 obviously does not apply in its entirety, but he was probably pointing to the indefinite article at the end).

That standard http://www.openbsd.org/checklist.html # 17 was mentioned by Vlad Glagolev.
Personally I like it. We need our own standards and we really should honour them.
It is funny for me if sb. usually removes last line from HISTORY file and someone else puts it back and vice versa.
It is funny for me if sb. removes an article from SHORT and metions in HISTORY that he "fixed" it.
It is funny for me if sb. changes lines order in DETAILS and someone else changes them in other way.
Imho our changes in DETAILS should be as small as possible. It is very hard to inspect changes with switched and shifted lines.
Of course it is all about the compromise. We can not force developers to write spell in only one right way.
