It can be 0 too-if [ $# -le 1 ]; thenSeems strange for me. Just trying it and I can't see the difference.
+if [ "$#" -le 1 ]; then
devices="$(ls $netdevdir | grep dev$ | cut -d. -f1)"
else
devices="$(builtin echo $@ | sed s/$1//)"
"telinit run network status eth0" versus "telinit run network status"
works OK without your change.
$# must be always 1 or more, no needs "$#".
Am I missing something?
telinit run network status eth0
status = 1
eth0 = 2
Without 1. argument (start, status,...) it ends in telinit:
# telinit run network
rc: missing script argument
