Here in KY we do group orders from FEDCO in Maine, and I have been growing this small "cutting celery" which does not get big but grows like horizontal parsley. I have never planted it early enough to get as large as 1/2", maybe 3/16" and I never blanched it since it was called cutting. Fedco.com will probably get you to their site and online catalogue but you have to order by mail and maybe phone. Order soon because they will sell out of popular varieties.
