Zdravstvuite! Hello...

I just joined the mailing list and thought I should introduce myself. My name is Aaronm from New Hampshire USA. I have been searching out information on Pleurothallids online now for quite some time and luckily I stumbled across this group.

My orchid collection is primarily in Pleurothallids, though I also have a couple Paphs, Phals, Brassia and a few Dendrobiums, but absolutely fell head over heels for the miniature Pleuros almost a year ago. I mostly have Restrepia (I just got my trichogolossa to bloom) and Ancipitias. I am currently working on a Masdevallia flasking project with a member from another orchid group. I have one flasking project underway with Laelia anceps and Encyclia adenocuale, they are just getting to the point where they are developing roots.

I work primarily with species plants, but don't turn my nose up at hybrids.

I am contemplating pollinating my Res, trichogolossa but haven't the foggiest on how to actually proceed with such a minute proceedure. I'm hoping to learn alot from you folks.

Beyond my orchid hobby, its the norm...I work for the State Dept as a Passport Specialist, fly fish when the season is right, fly-tying when the season isn't.

Aaron
