Aaron,

For fumigation, contact our State Apiary Inspector, Will Hicks, contact info here: https://www.ncbeekeepers.org/resources/apiary-inspection-program.

He will pick your stuff up and return it to you when it is ready. He can also advise on what should be fumigated etc.

It is with regret that I announce that our long experiment with beekeeping has come to a fatal end.  Our one and only remaining hive did not make it through the extreme conditions this winter.

I have a number of boxes (deep and medium), frames, foundations, a jacket/mask combo, tools, smoker, etc . . . that I am willing to part with at a reasonable price.

Does anyone have a contact for the fumigator in Raleigh and advise on specifically what I need to get treated before I unload?

You can reach me at 919-433-7652.

posters the club has)

with and without bees)

These bees are in a large hollow area at the base of a cedar tree.
Unfortunately, the opening is very small and we hae no way to get the bees
out without damaging the tree, which the property owner doesn't want to
do.  If anybody has a way to extract the bees from inside the tree, please
contact Dianne.  Thanks.

Hello All,

I'd like to get a count of how many people are interested AND can attend a
honey extraction workshop this month. We are looking to have the event on
Saturday the 14th of June at 2pm.

This is a pot luck event and we usually eat first then extract.

Friends and family are welcome.

Please let me know the following:

- Can you attend?
- How many attending with you?
- Do you want to extract your own honey?
- How many supers do you plan on bringing?

Note: two supers will usually fill one 5 gallon bucket. You'll need to bring
your own bucket(s) and strainer if you plan to extract honey.

Please be sure and reply to only me, do not reply all.

So that we can finalize arrangements or consider an alternate date, I'll
need your RSVP by the end of the day Monday June 9th at the latest.

Thanks,
-Inge
