Person County Beekeepers meet on Thursday, June 18 at 7:00pm at the Person County Office Building, 304 South Morgan Street, Roxboro, in the auditorium, for Hive Talk with a panel of experienced beekeepers to answer beekeeping questions.

Extract honey with your fellow beekeepers and join in the potluck lunch afterwards.  Join us at the farm of Tom and Linda Savage, 609 Whitmore Road in Hurdle Mills, on Saturday, June 27 at 10 AM to watch and participate in the honey extraction process from uncapping to clean-up!  If you'd like to bring honey to be extracted, please let Lynn know how many frames you'd like to bring so we can see what time will allow.     If you've already bottled your honey from this season, bring a sample for a peer review (ie., are you ready for a State Fair ribbon?)

BY JUNE 23 at NOON, please e-mail Lynn Wilson at wilsonls AT esinc.net to let her know how many will attend from your family, whether you would like to bring frames of honey for extraction and how many.   Lynn will purchase paper products and beverages for all.   (If you prefer something besides lemonade, water or tea, feel free to make a suggestion!)

PS
If workshop members extract honey for you, please consider donating a one-pound jar to the upcoming PCBA Honey Raffle!

ALSO, please note that if you only receive these notices through the List Serve, you did not receive May minutes and will no longer receive PCBA minutes due to length restrictions.   (So check the website for a member application form and join up!)
