 Here is a great opportunity for anyone looking to learn
about permaculture for the subtropics in general; and for the Hawaiian islands
in particular.
 
This Kauai Permaculture Design Course features a great
teaching team with Michael Pilarski, Ray Maki, Paul Massey and many local
guest
presenters. Together we have lots of on-the-ground experience.
 
This is a residential, intensive, two-week course. February
22 to March 9, 2014.

Lawrence,
Regarding your question about the cost of GIS equipment, I think you
meant GPS equipment, since you mention hand held devices connected to a
laptop. This course is focused on GIS as in Geographic Information
Systems, although GPS is often integrated with GIS. Hope that clarifies it.
