Subject: Regarding Agroforestry Resources

The USDA has a latge number of files that you can download on the topic
of agroforestry. They will also send you hard copies if you so request. Go to
the following link for topics agroforestry topics such as silvopasture, alley
cropping, windbreaks, living barns, riparian buffer strips, and forest
farming. These have been very helpful for me regarding the topic and many of
the ideas are a part of Permaculture design.

Laurence regarding multi livestock grazing systems on rotational commons
its been done in Spain and Portugal for at least 4,000 years. Its called
debesa. Here is a link to an example.

If that link does not work just do a search forthe traditionalextensive free
ramge pig farm: a sustainable or an endangered production system. Basically
its the cork oak savanna system with acorn and chestnut feed for the
livestock component.
