at Three Sisters Farm

Workshops

Greenhouse Design and Management
March 17-18 9 am – 4 pm $250
Tour Three Sisters’Bioshelter and learn about energy efficient greenhouse
design. Explore bioshelter crops through the seasons, fertility, and plant
care techniques. Get an in-depth look at greenhouse pests and discover
strategies and techniques to manage them organically and provide beneficial
insect habitat. Lunch is included both days.

Grafting
Saturday, April 14 11 am - 2 pm $50
Want to learn how to graft selected varieties of fruit onto rootstock? Join
us for this day-long hands-on workshop to explore the types and uses of cuts,
timing, tools, and maintenance. Try your hand at grafting (with a practice
round first!). See how it is done in the field. Lunch is included, and there
is an option to take home a small fruit tree.

Mushrooms in Permaculture Systems, with Steve Gabriel, Work with Nature, LLC
May 12 10 am – 4 pm $75
This class focuses on a discussion of the role mushrooms play in
permaculture systems and how functional interconnection of mushrooms can
support healthy gardens, farms, and forests. Includes an inoculated mushroom
log.

PDC at Phipps Garden Center Feb. 18–May 6, weekends
