The hiller bedder could be retrofit with:
shock mounted deep cycle storage batteries
electric hydraulic pump
hydraulic rams, one per side
wheels mounted to a swiveling frame

rams would raise and lower the wheels at the end of each pass
so that the bedder would clear the ground when turning around ready for another pass and when returning to the barn for implement storage;
four pneumatic tires would be required
