(The following post is addressed to people located in central Texas; I just
wanted to be sure and reach permie-minded folks in the Austin area who aren't
on our local email lists. And some people outside the region might find it
interesting to see what fellow permies in another region are up to! So I beg
your indulgence for this region-specific message.)

Hi All,

This Friday Feb 25 at midnight, on behalf of Austin Permaculture Guild, I
plan to officially launch the Austin Permaculture Directory with what I hope
will be a critical mass of 100 or more listings. We are not quite halfway
there, but the quality and diversity of the entries so far is very
encouraging.

Any person, business, or group in central Texas who feels aligned with the
principles and ethics of permaculture design is welcome to join. This
includes not just "permaculture professionals" but EVERYONE from artists to
cabdrivers to musicians to computer programmers to ______ FILL IN THE BLANK,
who is committed to serving human needs locally.

We've received some entries from individuals who are simply looking to have
gatherings and workdays with fellow permaculture-minded people. That's a
great thing!

To become a Founding Member with a PERMANENT listing (which you can edit
anytime), the requested contribution is $5. I plan to curate this directory
diligently to meet the evolving needs of the community.

You can view the directory in progress at www.austinperm.com - click on
Permaculture Directory. I've also created a portal page on Facebook - just
type Austin Permaculture Directory. Please share this message with anyone who
you feel might be interested. Thank You!
