Hi Folks,
I’m very interested in Permaculture from a farming perspective (I have 11
acres of organic land in pasture which could easily be utilized better.
Do you know of any folks pioneering this effort in my general area?
Thank you,
Ron Shurie

I have tried the two parallel fences 4 feet high spaced 4 feet apart and
it was not at all successful for keeping out the deer. The theory behind
that design is that deer can jump high or far, but not both high and far
at the same time. So I spent a lot of time, money, and effort building
this double fence.
The deer never understood the concept that they were supposed to jump
both fences at once! They would jump one fence, then jump then next one.
So much for humans being smarter than deer!
I suppose if you built a chicken run that was 4' high and 4' wide with a
mesh roof, the run could encircle the entire area you wanted to protect
from the deer. Good stacking of function.
