Turn your idea into a workshop, tour or class and create a Deeper Dive into
one of the topics offered at the Urban Permaculture Institute. Learn to
teach permaculture principles, strategies, and design a Permaculture class
at Hayes Valley Farm. This course will offer you the information, philosophy
and delivery techniques of Permaculture teaching.

Join Jay Rosenberg and David Stockhausen for an intensive training and
certification held over two weekends.

The course covers preparation of curriculum, slide-shows, and shares
examples of courses taught around the world in different styles for
different locations.

You will be provided variations of Permaculture
course notes you can use and/or adapt to your own teaching style.

This course will help you gain the confidence to go out and begin teaching
permaculture classes - which can help you finance your Permaculture
ambitions whilst simultaneously helping to hasten the uptake of Permaculture
principles worldwide.

Through this course you will also have opportunity to become part of the
Permaculture Research Institute teachers' network, the Urban Permaculture
Institute in San Francisco, as well as other affiliated permaculture
organizations.

You will also be mentored in how to become a registered teacher with Lisa
and Bill Mollison's Permaculture Institute of Australia and/or the
Permaculture Research Institute of Australia- the only internationally
recognized register of Permaculture teachers.
*Active Design Course:*

**In this design course, participants will be working to produce content for
an actual class to be offered here in San Francisco at the Urban
Permaculture Institute. Throughout the course, we will share with you the
tools and strategies required to convert an idea into a "Deeper Dive" while
sharpening and refining your own teaching style.

weekends. A*deposit
of $150* is required to process your registration. The schedule is outlined
