Aired on Australian ABC a fascinating tale of toxicity from a catchment area draining a GE monocultural forest plantation. Water originating from this area has high toxicity from what appears to be decaying vegetation derived from the eucalypt tree plantations. There may be synergistic effects from chemicals also applied to these plantations. The GP and scientist investigating this case have pleaded with the Tasmanian government to investigate this issue further. The transcript : http://www.abc.net.au/austory/content/2007/s2827178.htm
