Hi guys.
Some of you may have heard me mention my book of poetry which is coming out
in September. It's going to be called "The Spark Singer," and is 80 pages
of verse by yours truly, published by Brooklyn's Spuyten Duyvil Press.

The book release party is scheduled for Wednesday, 09-09-09, at the one and
only Cantab Lounge in Cambridge, MA. Consider this your official
invitation. I have a few more dates booked already, but I still have a lot
of space, and I want to do as many shows as I can.

You can find general information about my work and links to samples here:
www.jadesylvan.com. Check out the "Links" page to see some recent
publications. A few audio Mp3s are also available for download on the
"Work" page.

I have one year to tour with this book before I start grad school in the
fall of 2010. I'm planning on touring as much as I can with it, squeezing
the last sugary drops out of this juicy artist life before I have to be
somewhat responsible.

If you know of any venues that may want to house a stop on my tour, please
pass them along to me or me along to them. I will read at slam venues,
bookstores, galleries, coffee shops, bars, house shows, opening for bands,
etc. I will also do interviews, talks and q&a's about writing and
publishing with a modern small press, and workshops.

I am planning to be in the Midwest the first week in October, but other than
that, times and places are still vague.

Thank you for checking me out.
