I seem to remember a story about how there is a county in Australia that
hate Bill Mollison. They had a miserable patch of desert where they
couldn't get anything to grow. Bill came and brought life to the land and
now their community has come to life and prospered with all of the
greenery. They hate Bill because he planted lots of thornless honey
locusts. Which dropped seeds which grew into thorned honey locust and sorta
took over the area. So now there is lots of forest where there used to be
barrent desert and they are spending tens of thousands of dollars to remove
Bill's locusts.
