Did anyone else note the ironic juxtaposition of this article with Darren Doherty's post of yesterday, in which he offers workshops on carbon farming? I'm surprised that we still haven't learned to try biological solutions like those of Yeomans before technological ones like seeding the oceans with iron. Yikes! I'd say that this more or less irreversible "solution" is just screaming for the law of unintended consequences to show up. What critical ocean nutrients will be depleted when hungry algae search for food to balance the load of chemical fertilizer they've been given? The problem can be the solution, but with technology, the solution is often the problem.

the way that power is structured in the world system we will end up
