I'm specifying plants for a school courtyard garden planting, and am looking
for herbaceous perennials that hold their form well in winter (zone 5,
USDA). The kids are only there in fall, winter and spring... aromatic or
otherwise inviting plants would be nice. Does anyone have recommendations?
Russian Sage is the only one on the list so far...

Much appreciated,
