9/11 WASN'T THE FIRST & KATRINA WASN'T THE LAST!
As natural disasters increase in frequency and devastation around the world,
and the global financial crisis and the steep rise in food and gas prices
(among other things) result in precarity and riots for much of the world, we
cannot afford to ignore the political ramifications of disasters.
Join Kansas Mutual Aid and New York City-based Aftershock Action Alliance for
a
radical examination of the politics of disasters. Learn about insurrectionary
mutual aid, grassroots emergency preparedness, and how these are important
lessons for anarchists, radicals, social justice activists, and anyone who
wishes to prepare and ensure the safety of their family, friends, and
neighbors.
WHEN: Tuesday, July 1st 7pm
WHERE: Bluestockings
172 Allen Street (between Stanton & Rivington)
F to Second Avenue
Aftershock Action Alliance is a New York City grassroots radical emergency
response collective. We are proponents of sustainable, decentralized, and
self-organizing models for disaster relief that leave local communities
empowered. www.aftershockaction.org
Kansas Mutual Aid is a community organization dedicated to the education,
betterment, and liberation of society. Kansas Mutual Aid was involved in
recovery efforts in tornado-ravaged Greensburg, KS in 2007.

But it didn't go to the list Tomas.
Anyway, be good to get a trained eye on this implement.

See if this is adequate for the job. Looks the best of what is available
as standard.
I am trying to persuade a couple of folks to give the system a try. One
in particular, a student of mine with quite a large acreage, very flat,
can't drive a tractor though.
Still be good if it happens.
Nicely,
Niels
