Releasing non-native animals into the wild is not a very cool thing
to do, however, I would imagine that hedgehogs would not last long in
most areas of the US or Canada -- too many fox and coyotes and large
hawks. But why would you want them anyway -- they eat lots of critters
you want to keep, like frogs and earthworms and snakes?
