Seattle Public Utilities has helped several neighborhoods design
streetside gardens that help with water runoff. Here is a link to
their site, which includes photos of some of the gardens.

The gardens make the neighborhoods look better and help clean the
water that runs into Elliott Bay and Puget Sound. Here's a link to
