So far the solutions are citrus scent on all door jambs, osage orange broken up & spread outside the door, same with black walnuts, & french marigold barriers. & we're talking a lot of wolf spiders, maybe not armies, but at least patrols. You've reminded me that I should try to convince the operations people that the spiders could be trapped & released somewhere else (like in my own garden) because I'm pretty sure they are being flushed down the toilet or stomped on.

I can't offer any solutions offhand, but one key might

"What might be drawing the spiders indoors?"

Presumably their food supply is mostly outdoors.
What's the weather like there? What part of the
country are you in? Is it cold and dry up there; are
they seeking heat and humidity and perhaps water to
drink?

Once I persuaded a relentless convoy of ants to stop
coming through the window into my kitchen sink. I did
this by putting a water dish outside for them.

And what kind of numbers are we talking about here?
Are we talking like two spiders a day happening to
stray indoors, or are they marching into the office in
six-deep phalanxes (or whatever the term is for a
large group of spiders)? If it's a major diaspora,
something must be out of balance in the environment.
Either it's become really inhospitable for them
outdoors, or there's something really enticing to them
indoors.

Long live our eight-legged friends! Thank you for
trying to convince your officemates of the spiders'
merits.
