Kids welcome to play outside on the covered benches.

Come learn what trees are naturaly able to handle drought conditions and how
to grow fruits and nuts in this double presentation on trees. Free booklet
on "Trees for Bastrop County" included.

Topics to be covered are:
- varieties that grow well in Central Texas.
- care needed - watering, weeding, fertilizing, animal protection.
- how much area is needed for each tree?
- planting location - sunlight needs, height and shading of various trees.
- tree production - how much fruit/nuts are produced, and when?
