Yes, we've just completed an Urban Permaculture Design Course at the San Francisco Botanical Gardens in Golden Gate Park.

The students redesigned the children's garden and installed an herb spiral. There are big plans for Sustainability Center there and new SF Urban Permaculture Institute. Next Pc design course is scheduled for Summer 2007.

Here are some images from our class http://www.sfbotanicalgarden.org/ permaculture/image/tid/13

Are there any public gardens that promote permaculture or have permaculture systems on display in any of their gardens?
