Hello Noctaire,

> Anyone have a line on a good source for biodegradable bags for composting?

A site in the Netherlands that sells such bags for their NonOlet toilet [1]:

http://www.de12ambachten.nl/engbooks.html

Under the Products, look for the plastic bags for the paper leaf toilet.
They are supposedly designed to be GFT-disposable, hence biodegredable.

Note: The bottoms are perforated, to seperate urine from faecies in
the intended application. This may help to keep your compost pile dry
enough.

Best,

Rick van Rein.

[1] NonOlet means non-smelling. This is a non-flush toilet that layers
paper on top of the faecies to dry it instantly, making it
non-smell. I will be testing it on their site on next Friday.
De 12 Ambachten are a great bunch of people, doing research on
small ecological cycles, including recycling of gray waste water,
wood ovens and heated walls.
