For those of you who are interested in moviing to Red Rock here is a sample
of some really good deals in property for sale out here. Please only come
out if you have the resources and committment to create a new life in a
rural community working towards self-reliance and sustainability. Many of
these are foreclosures are because the 40 mile commute to Ausitn is quickly
becoming untenable.

Neighbors in the Red Rock area have hosted two permaculture courses,
sponsored home orchard kits, gardening classes, and numerous talks on
everything from solar panels, to pruning fruit trees, to wildfire
preparedness, chicken tractors, herbal first-aid, alternative currencies,
and much more. Many of us are deeply concerned about, and are actively
preparing for, the growing crisis in energy and food shortages. We are also
seeking a way of life that is based on self-reliance and giving.

Alan Kugler is our local realtor who has provided the information on these
listings. Please contact him at 512 581 2631 to see the properties. I am
not a realtor and I haven't seen any of these myself. Both the Red Rock
Acres area and the Sand Hills area have families who are working towards
self-relinace and would welcome new like-minded neighbors. There are
approximately 15 permaculture graduates in the area. Red Rock also has a
start-up sustainable community on 35 acres with an Earth Haven type of
structure for land ownership and resource sharing.

Sincerely,

Marjory Glowka
