When grass (cellulose) burns it releases toxins, many of them known
carcinogens:

These compounds are present in a healthy field. The toxins don't need any
help from sewage sludge or chemical applications.

The particulate matter released to the atmosphere in a stove/furnace without
flyash controls equates to 1 ton for every 5 acres of grass.

Grass makes a much better fuel for a cow than for a stove. A cow may release
a little methane in the process, but that has been going on for eons.
