Hello Everyone,
Growing your own food has so many benefits. John Jeavons has spent the last
33 years researching just how an ordinary person with limited resources can
provide for her/himself sustainably forever. Did you know you that you can
grow all you need for a healthy vegetarian diet in a fairly small space?
Come explore this work of Jeavons and a lively discussion afterwards at the
Red Rock Community Center on Jan. 14th, 2006 from 6:30-8:30pm. Nancy Dennis,
who has been studying, practicing, and teaching will guide the evening.
There will also be a hands-on gardening class at the Red Rock elementary
school Feb. 4-11th. Call Marjory Glowka at 830 839 4077 for more
information.
Red Rock is about 35 miles SE of Austin, Texas - a growing community of
sustainably oriented folks.
