Rich,

I just accessed your website and was happy you posted the link.
Congratulations on your effort. Of course, I did a search for:
http://www.comp.leeds.ac.uk/cgi-bin/pfaf/find_lat?ALL=bamboo

I noticed you are missing Guadua Angustafolia which INBAR (International
Network for Bamboo and Rattan) lists as one of their top 19 priority
species. Let me know if you would like to add this tropical clumping bamboo
to your database. There are also some temperate bamboos which are great as
well and were left out.

Good luck with your funding bid! Seems like something I should be after
while I am still in the US in Florida. But I believe that perhaps the best
solution for my farm in Brazil is reorganization of the traditional
mechanized agriculture instead of grants/funds. But I might be mistaken.

Best regards,

João Paglione

Post Scriptum - Access www.conbam.de (also in English) for great photos of
Guadua!
