This is a good analogy, but carry it a bit further. How far will the
energy in your car's battery move your car down the road compared with
say five gallons of gasoline. To get the transportation power of five
gallons of gasoline, you would have to have, what, a dozen batteries
plus the energy to charge them? How far would a battery charged by
hydrogen take a jet airplane? Or a giant earth mover? Or a steel
factory?
