Hullo Ma Qing
I cannot help you re-papers on silicon as a fungal spray - perhaps you
can search biodynamic web sites for information about the BD 501 spray,
finely pulverised quartz crystal used to correct water imbalances in
foliage including treatment of fungal problems.

The leaves of 2 silicon-rich plants, horsetail (equisetum arvense) and
casuarina spp., have been traditionally used by organic gardeners to make
sprays for fungal disease, especially powdery mildew, but I am not aware
of any scientific research papers.

Another excellent organic fungicide for powdery mildew on curcurbits
(including cucumner) is epsolm salts: 5gr (1 teaspoon) in 10 litres of
water used as a foliar spray.
Hope this helps you in your quest.
