WORKSHOPS Saturday 27th
2 half-day workshops with Declan at Djanbung Gardens

Declan shares the visionary work of his wife Margrit Kennedy, author of
³Interest and Inflation Free Money² - radical and thought provoking
strategies to create an exchange medium that works for everybody & protects
the earth.
MEDIATION FROM THE HEART, 2pm-4pm
Mediation and conflict resolution coming from the heart space to find win-win
solutions that acknowledges the emotions as well as the intellect. A profound
workshop for all people involved in community and human relations.
CIRCLE DANCE (following Mediation workshop)
Declan is renowned for his circle dance workshops including sacred dance from
many cultures - be inspired through dance as a medium for joyful connection
with each other and the earth.
Prof. Dipl. Ing. Declan Kennedy
is an Irish architect, urban planner, permaculture designer and ecologist,
co-founder of the Permaculture Institute of Europe and of the Global Village
Network (GEN). He has been teaching and practising ecological urban design
since 1972 and permaculture for the past 20 years and was Professor of Urban
Design and Infrastructure at the Architectural Department of the Technical
University of Berlin. Presently, he is doing the urban design for the first
full-pledged ecological settlement in Ireland. He now teaches eco-village
design from the ecological community Lebensgarten Steyerberg, Lower Saxony,
Germany where he and Margrit live and which they co-founded in 1985
N.B. Proceeds from these workshops and presentations will be donated to
projects supported by Declan & Margrit in developing countries.
Declan is also speaking about EcoVillages at the Ace Training Room above
Westpac bank in Byron on 22nd January at 7pm, and giving a full-day design
