In addition to Tammi's post, the UKPC Academy have there own website as well,
which
includes the British Permaculture Diploma Action learning manual written by
Andy
Langford (due to be updated soon) http://www.permaculture.org.uk/academy/

I'm also in the process iof setting up an online 'support zone' for those
(primarily in the UK, as it seems our evolution has developed a slightly
different
path to elsewhere in the world) working towards the diploma or otherwise
involved
in PC teaching/learning work http://pages.unisonfree.net/gburnett/pcal/

As well as the UK PC Academy there is also the PC Academy of Breton
http://membres.tripod.fr/academy who again are developing a slightly
differently
evolved path

Cheers, Graham

The Permaculture Association in the UK grants diplomas and has recently
overhauled
and improved procedures. More info: www.permaculture.org.uk or email

Hi Folks :)
I'm trying to locate the fields of specialization that one can
undertake to work towards the Diploma as a Permaculture Consultant -
these are on page 13 of #19 Permaculture Journal. Does anyone know if
this is on the web somewhere. Thanks in advance :))

Hi Marcus -
I'm sure you are referring to the 2-year diploma, and not
the 72-hour Permaculture trainee/apprentice certificate.
Below is the information as printed on page 81 of the American
Permaculture Directory, also listed on the website,
[http://www.permaculture.net]
in the American Permaculture Directory section.
This information is from Mollison's Foundation
Year-Book of the Permaculture Academy, printed in
1993, so one would still have to contact Mollison
for updates & procedures.
NOTE: As far as I know, he is the
only one granting diplomas, but even though I have
been told I have earned one & applied for it over
two years ago, I am still waiting
