Good day:)

I tried to do a look up in a plant encyclopedia but found scant info. Is this
type considered invasive? Does it flower? Some say it used to be used for
baskets, and switches. Any other uses? Is any part edible?
Does anyone know a good reference site for this plant? Thanks. Frank
