Dear sir / Madam:

Let me begin by introducing our organization. Nepal Pemaculture Group
(NPG) is a non-profit making non-governmental organization established in
May 1992 and registered under the society registration act of Nepal and
also affiliated with Social Welfare Council in Nepal. NPG is being
gradually developed not only as the national forum of permaculture but
also as of the sustainable agriculture in Nepal. NPG is a network
organization of individuals and institutions working in the field of
permaculture and sustainable agriculture .NPG is a member of IFOAM and it
has been working in promotion of organic agriculture in Nepal since its
establishment. We believe in working with nature, not against!

NPG coordinates individuals and organizations working in the field of
permaculture and similar philosophy. It promotes permaculture and
alternative/sustainable development for self-reliant society through
networking with emphasis on policy formulation, quality control of
permaculture and related training and services, research, advocacy and
lobbying.

NPG has more than 250 individual members and eight organizational members.
There are a long list of other associates which have not received the
status of member. Its network is nationwide. The individual members come
from a wide range of field: farmers to professionals. The organizations
are national level NGOs to CBOs.

I would like to request you for publication or any other relevant
information that you can share with us. Please send them to the address
below.

I would be glad to answer your queries.

Looking forward to hearing from you in near future.

With best regards,

Raj Maharjan.
Coordinator
