They might be. Then again I don't think many conventional landscape
architects have yet recognized the value of permaculture.

They may not be graduates of the Permaculture Design Course in which case
they aren't allowed to use the word Permaculture in advertising or making
their living. Also, some of the other terminology you mention may be more
widely known than the term "Permaculture" and thus more "salable" to clients
without having to explain a whole lot. Then too, as we have discussed
previously some people consider "Permaculture" to actually have a negative
effect on advertising to mainstream clients because few of them will have
heard of it, and those who have tend to associate it with the "hippie
lunatic fringe."

At least that's how it often is in the U.S.
