There seems to be a big growth for permaculture in Canada more than any
other country.
[something is happening in B.C. Canada that is causing quite a bit of
excitement. Anyone know what it is?]

Not sure what all the parts are, but my guess is that the Global Living
Project is having some impact there and down to northern California.
They do a media tour by bicycle and have courses in the summer.
They have a major focus on reducing people's ecological footprint.
Here's some info on some of their projects. I've suggested they
add biointensive gardening to their system. They garden some
and are using as much in the way of local providers as possible.
