Check out <www.seedballs.com> This is a webpage on seedballs based on the Masinobu Fukuoka method. There are some instructions on preparing seedballs. You might also do a search under seedballs on the web there are lots of references.
Hope this helps!

Its spring time also in the netherlands now.
The soiltemperature is above a daily average of 8°C and that means, that
the gardening season for many annuals starts now. Its time to pellet my
mix of seeds and now comes my question:
So far I produced the "render" around my pellets from a mix of 66% of
montmorillonite ( aka claypowder) and 33% volcanic stone powder.
ceartainly a good start for the little plants but this render tends to
be a touch to brittle ( is this right expression for something
crumbling).
Does someone know a better mixing ratio or other ingridients?
Even thought of wall paper glue.
I`d be grateful for any idea even if you tell me that pellets are out,
as long as you tell me whats better and please leave me alone with zone
