and methods for finding our own right livelihoods.

The first session will create a foundation for understanding principles and
practices of Permaculture Design. The second session will review principles
and focus more on community strategies and village design. Both sessions

HARBIN HOT SPRINGS
___________________
Harbin Hot Springs is located two hours north of the Oakland International
Airport in Middletown, California, (twenty miles north of Calistoga on HWY
29).

Harbin's natural beauty is an incredible backdrop for this retreat. The
Harbin Community is located on over a thousand acres near Napa Valley's
wine country. The geo-thermal pools, and miles of hiking through meadows,
creeks and woodlands are complemented by a wide offering of bodywork, yoga,
meditation and regular community festivities.

Harbin also features a restored turn of the century retreat center with an
historic hotel and tranquil creekside campgrounds. In addition to three
relaxing hot spring pools are saunas and a full size swimming pool.
Appointments can also be scheduled for mud baths and a world famous
"Wastsu" treatment (massage while floating in the hot spring!).

The community is complete with organic gardens, a natural foods cafe,
health food store, library, theatre, social gatherings and merchants
selling imports and crafts. Nearby micro-brewery, vineyards and wine
tasting can also be enjoyed.
