The farmhouse at La Mohea is hundreds of years old, with thick stone walls
and a tiled roof. Our lifestyle is simple and in keeping with the place,
we live at the pace of the sun and seasons and we cook on an open fire. The
kitchen is the heart of the farm, where we enjoy our vegetarian meals together.
We are often busy preparing conserves, jams, vinegars, wines etc - making
use of all the fruit and vegetables that are excess to our daily needs -
and baking bread and cakes in a wood-fired oven. We do not have electricity
or a telephone, and live 8km from the nearest village.
For International telecommunications we rely on the assistance of family
and friends, as postal services can be slow please remember to write well
in advance when planning a visit.
La Mohea is our home, and we reserve the right of admission.
