Title: Strat's Place Gardens and Gardening
One of our great joys is our garden and visiting the gardens of others. The four seasons of the Triangle area provide for some great gardening diversity. The following are some of our favorite gardening "haunts".
If you know of others that we should add please drop us a note and let us know.
- The North Carolina State University Arboretum is one of the premier arboretums in the Nation !!
- Niche Gardens is a great source for unusual plants and nursery grown wildflowers. They have a great online catalog
- Lynn's Landscape and Garden .. a local landscaper with a great site and the home of the North Carolina Blue Bird Society
- The UNC Botanical Garden (Chapel Hill)
-
We both have gotten hooked on the joy of Koi Ponds, and this is a great site to get further info about these beautiful fish
- The Sarah P. Duke Gardens (Durham)
- The Coker Arboretum (Chapel Hill)
